FAQ

Where is the wedding taking place?

The Wedding Lawn at Hotel Komune and Beach Club. Exact location of the wedding ceremony will be uploaded under the Photos tab of the wedding website.

Where is the wedding reception taking place?

The Reception Deck at Hotel Komune and Beach Club. We will upload the map of the venue under the Photos tab of this site!

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

The dress code for our wedding is Balinese/Boho casual. Wear something you're comfortable in! Button up shirts, long flowy dresses, or whatever brings you joy. We may suggest that you follow the colour palette for wedding attire - you can find this under the Photos tab.

What weather should I expect?

Of course, we can't guarantee anything, but May to August is considered as Bali's dry season. So don't forget to drink lots of water!

What should I expect after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the immediate families of the couple and the wedding entourage will be taking pictures on the beach for around an hour. Guests can go straight to the Reception Deck where canapes and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 7PM, with dancing to follow.

Where should we stay?

We are having the ceremony at The Hotel Komune and Beach Club. We highly suggest that you stay in this hotel for easy access to the welcome diner and wedding day. Guests can have 10% discount of the hotel stay if they reserve and use the code: ArviAndVictor

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

We have booked professional photographers and videographers for the ceremony. We kindly ask that you switch off your phones and refrain from using cameras. So sit back and enjoy the ceremony!

Can I bring a plus one?

Oh, yes! Please let us know on the RSVP if you plan to bring a guest, and include their name as well so you can sit next to each other at the dinner table.

Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! To save you shopping, sit back and rest, a gift of currency is our request A.K.A #housedepositfund ;) Check this out under Registry!

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favourite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area.

I still have questions. What is the best way to contact you?

Tash is our wedding coordinator and Lucille Yangat (Bride's MOH) will be available all day for last minute questions. As much as we'd like to answer and help, the bride and groom would love to be present and focus on their wedding day.
